My name is Andrea Mattson and I am the coordinator and founder of Victoria’s 1st Annual ENERGY EXPO 2010 at the Fernwood Community Centre May 15th and 16th. The inspiration is to create a grassroots community event to join together all those seeking wisdom, healing, peace, love and light in an atmosphere of non-judgment, fun, enlightenment and respect. I believe in the strength of every person’s mind, body and spirit to heal itself and find the power within. Energy is the life force, it is nature’s medicine. As nature’s beauty is vast and diverse so are the many ways of healing. It is my goal to raise public consciousness as to how energy works and where they can find local healing resources. Energy expo 2010 is for anyone that wishes to find positive solutions for a renewal of vitality in their lives. Healthy individuals equal a healthy community equals a healthy world.
This is an opportunity for holistic health practitioners, metaphysicians and various other healers to exhibit their special talents, gifts and skills. There will be space for over 40 exhibitors and two full days of workshops (14 in total) at grassroots prices: early bird exhibition spaces for as low as $75 and $10 admission fee for those wanting to attend this special experience. A portion of the proceeds will be going to the Fernwood:NRG to help support low income housing and community activities, to find out more visit www.fernwoodneighbourhood.ca.
